Open
Secret
A digitally re-mastered re-release of
Asher's new-age instrumental classic, with
2 bonus tracks included. This haunting,
lyrical suite has a progressive, classical,
quietly epic feel to it, and a deeply
evocative nature where each piece conjures
up a striking visual narrative.
It was produced and arranged with original
Genesis guitarist Anthony Phillips, and
features rock legend Andy Latimer of Camel,
and Tony Freer of The Enid amongst the live
musicians.

This version of Open Secret was released
in 2005 by Wolf Eye Records. The 10 tracks
have a total play time of 53:10
minutes.

very rare, almost unearthly beauty. It's
pure, real, very moving and straight from
the heart. Your voice is as unique as the
music itself... I always think about the
great troubadors of the middle ages when I listen to your compositions, and it
has inspired me to develop my own
musicality. When I first heard the track
"Soldier of love" I became lost in the
positive meaning of the phrase.

music to relax to is this - piano, guitar
and orchestra combine to give a sound that
floats over one. Some of it reminds me of
the slower ballad-type pieces the Beatles
once played. "A solitary bird" I found a
particularly poignant track.
