Introducing the music of Ricky Donaldson

Ricky Donaldson, has been involved in writing and performing music for a number of years.  He comes from a contrastingly classical piano and rock music background, and has pursued a number of musical byways on his journey - that has included writing sound tracks for the BBC and a range of other organisations.  He runs his own studio and music label from his home in Scotland.

Recently Ricky has written and produced an album, Aqueous, for use in complementary and holistic therapies.  This has already had some really great reviews for it's use in these practices.

He sent a copy of Aqueous to us to try and we immediately liked it. Leaving aside the 'therapy' intention of the album, it's also clear, from the feedback he's been getting and from our own experience, that it's great to just listen and relax with - and for that matter we've found it calming to play while driving.

The album tracks are simply structured, spaceous, calming and relaxing. He makes use of acoustic instruments - including piano and guitar - alongside sythesised sounds.
